9. Assassin's Creed Origins Arsinoe Nome (DLC)

Arsinoe Nome is kind of small, but it's still got just about as many locations as Klysma Nome.

Quest: Shards from a Star

Suggested: Lv43

Reward: 8000XP

After receiving a scroll from Gamilat during the main story, you'll be given this quest to solve the riddle inside the scroll. First, travel to the Temple of Thoth in Arsinoe and jump down to the massive tree in the middle of the temple. Look for some weak-looking roots and smash them apart so you can find a crystal that belongs at the top of the viewpoint.

Once it's in place it'll send beams of light into the temple towards two mirrors. Redirect the mirrors towards the two statues closest to the middle of the temple so that they shine on the door you got the crystal from. Inside are dual blades that will finish the quest when picked up.

Location: Amenmesse Pyramid Camp

Location: South of Arsinoe.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

During the story, you enter the interior of the pyramid. The captain and treasure, on the other hand, are on top of the structure. There are fewer enemies here than there appear to be, so it should actually be pretty easy to wipe this place clean.

Location: Arsinoe Sundial

Location: Northeast of Arsinoe's marker on the map. Easily identifiable as a rectangle with lines in it, with the pillar at the center.

Objectives: ---

The sundial isn't technically a location, but you'll want to jump off of it between 10AM and 12PM to get an achievement. Once at the top, take note of the one line in the middle that has an opening in the wall at the end of it instead of a torch. That's 12PM, and each line represents one hour. Count two torches to the left of that center line and wait for the shadow of the sundial to fall between them.

A safe jump would be done at 11AM or so, just to prevent the shadow from "technically" not being past 10AM or being after 12PM. The Dawn & Dusk skill is a big help for this achievement. When you use it, it might seem that the sky just happens to be foggy that day; that isn't actually the case, you just have to wait on top of the sundial's obelisk for the sun to come out.

This achievement does take a while if you're not lucky enough to have the shadow be at the proper time when you arrive to set this up. You should find something to do while periodically checking the time to make this less of a hassle for yourself.

  • What Time is It?

Perform a leap of faith from Arsinoe's sundial obelisk between 10 am and noon (The Hidden Ones)

    What Time is It?

Location: Castra Litore

Location: North of Vilicus Castra, on the coast.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

This small camp is easy to clear. The captain shouldn't be too far from the treasure here.

Location: Castra Pyramis

Location: Southeast of Arsinoe.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

Another of many soldier fortifications in Arsinoe. This one shouldn't pose many problems, as there are lots of things to hide behind and quite a lot of grass as well.

Location: Crocodile Lair

Location: In the northeast corner of the region, on the coast.

Objectives: Kill Animal

The standard animal lair. This should be simple by now.

Location: Deconstructed Monument

Location: In the city of Arsinoe.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

The treasure's at the top of the monument. If you're missing zipline kills, this would be a good place to get it if you leave everyone alone and rush to the top.

Location: Faucibus Amenmesse

Location: South of the Deconstructed Monument.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

This place consists of a bunch of tents inside a walled-off area. If you think it's worth your time, set a trap on the brazier up top to prevent any backup from coming in later.

Location: Forgotten Ruin

Location: West of Fort Clostra.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

There's just one treasure here, and it's real easy to get to. This place isn't that complicated.

Location: Fort Clostra

Location: At the southern border of the region.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Kill Commander, Loot Treasure (x2)

This fort is kind of out-of-the-way, but the story fortunately brings you here about halfway through. Take this opportunity to get everything done so you don't have to make a return trip.

Location: Madiama

Location: In the northeast corner of the region, in the mountains.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

A large bandit camp. Try to be as stealthy as possible if you can help it, because it's easy for everyone here to overwhelm you.

Location: Temple of Ba'al

Location: In the city of Arsinoe.

Objectives: Find the nearby hidden Papyrus

The puzzle is high up on a wooden scaffold. The puzzle is called Tool of Apis.

Location: Temple of Thoth

Location: Next to the viewpoint.

Objectives: Find the nearby hidden Papyrus

The scroll for the puzzle Good Things Come... is on a bookshelf in the back room of the temple.

Location: Vilicus Castra

Location: North of Arsinoe.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Kill Commander, Loot Treasure (x2)

This is a pretty big place, but if you're lucky rebels will already be fighting key enemies in here when you arrive. Take advantage of the situation by fighting alongside them to get the most out of their lives.
