23. Assassin's Creed Origins Herakleion Nome

Herakleion Nome is a set of small islands to the northeast, but despite the small amount of land to travel on, there are tons of locations here to explore.

Quest: Incoming Threat

Suggested: Lv35

Reward: 3000XP, Mystery Item

This is a new quest introduced with an update, and you might find it in Sapi-Res Nome for some reason. It seems that Siwa might be suspect to an attack once more, and your first step is to travel to the Saragina Camp in the region above Siwa, Libue.

Once you're there, you need to kill the highly-leveled commander here and loot him for his orders, as well as kill the invaders in the camp. When all men in the camp are dead, you'll now be after three bribe carts and the man named Jibade, who is your new assassination target. When destroying the carts, you only need to break the objects on top of it. Fire bombs work very well for this and are great if you're at a low level and still want to progress past these carts. Jibade is surrounded by accompanying enemies, which are inside a massive citadel. Jibade himself barely has as much health as his allies, so if you want to get things done you should focus only on him.

With the bribes destroyed and Jibade dead, head to Otis's house in Alexandria. Clear his house and inspect his body, then his house for clues. A jar in his house has a note in it; shoot it open and read it to finish the quest.

Quest: Loose Cargo

Suggested: Lv31

Reward: 2500XP

After reaching the location of Zoiontegoi Shipwreck, you'll hear a soldier cry for help and this quest will start. Kill the lions and free the soldier, ending this very quick quest.

Quest: Predator to Prey

Suggested: Lv31

Reward: 3000XP, Rare Hunter Bow

After you finish the Reunion quest, Tahira will ask you to help her attack the Romans so they stop hunting down the animals in the area. You'll first have to kill a group of soldiers hunting flamingos, and after them you'll take on the men hunting crocodiles at the nearby viewpoint. The third and final group will be hunting hippos. When they too have fallen, speak with Tahira before parting ways once again.

Quest: Recon Work

Suggested: Lv31

Reward: 2000XP

Apollodorus sent one of his men to a camp, but he still hasn't come back. Travel to the northeast to get to the camp, free some tied up prisoners, and speak with Iuseneb to finish the quest.

Quest: Reunion

Suggested: Lv31

Reward: 2500XP

Upon getting close to this quest, Senu will land by one of Bayek's old friends, Tahira. Follow her to the top of the viewpoint and watch a crocodile eat a flamingo, then meet her by a camp west of the city of Natho. Rescue the massive crocodile from the Cancer Roman Compound and escort it to the shrine to end this strange quest.

Location: Camp Nisi

Location: Near the viewpoint to the northwest.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

Thanks to the abundance of grass here, it's very easy to sneak up on everyone in the camp. The treasure is in a tent.

Location: Carcer Roman Compound

Location: North of the city of Natho, which is east of the lowest viewpoint.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

The treasure is in the middle of the compound. As for the enemies, you should definitely wait until nighttime for this, because four of them (including the captain) should be sleeping in a connecting building.

Location: Chata Pond

Location: West of the city of Herakleion.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

There should be a few enemies here, but they should be easy to sneak up on. The treasure is in the pond among a few other lootable items.

Location: Crocodile Lair

Location: West of the city of Yw Huts, which is southwest of the northeastern viewpoint.

Objectives: Kill Animal

The usual animal lair. You might get lucky and the alpha crocodile might have been killed by other enemies when you get here.

Location: Crocodile Lair

Location: At the southwestern edge of the region.

Objectives: Kill Animal

This alpha crocodile should be around Lv33, making him a hard opponent for those who are underleveled. It might be a good idea to tackle this place once you're around Lv32 or so.

Location: Crocodile Lair

Location: At the southeastern edge of the region.

Objectives: Kill Animal

The usual animal lair. There are quite a few crocodiles here, but it shouldn't take you too long to kill them all.

Location: Demesne of Sekhem

Location: East of the city of Herakleion.

Objectives: Find a place to rest

Simply sit down by the little camp here and you'll get a free skill point.

Location: Desher Bluff

Location: Southeast of the viewpoint to the southwest, which is also southwest of the city of Natho.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

There's not much to this place. The treasure will be by the coast, next to the man who used to live here.

Location: Dismal Tree

Location: West of the city of Yw Huts.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

There's nothing here except for the tree, and the treasure is right next to it.

Location: Elephas Remains

Location: On the western border, in the water.

Objectives: Loot Treasure (x2)

An underwater location. This one is a bit different because there are a few crocodiles swimming over the cave that the treasures are held inside of.

Location: Galenos' House

Location: Near the city of Natho, which is east of the lowest viewpoint.

Objectives: Find the nearby hidden Papyrus

This scroll is on a table in the second floor, and is for the puzzle called Royal Flora.

Location: Hippopotamus Lair

Location: Northeast of the viewpoint in the southwest.

Objectives: Kill Animal

The king hippo here is around Lv33, so you'd best be ready for a fight. Don't forget that there are other hippos here too.

Location: Home of Nehi

Location: West of the city of Herakleion.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

This is just a small house with a treasure up a set of stairs. There are some enemies here, however, so be on your toes.

Location: Huntress Cave

Location: South of the viewpoint to the southwest.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

This is just a small cave. There shouldn't be anything here to stop you from getting the treasure, except for the occasional drachma caravan.

Location: Irsu's Huts

Location: In the northwest corner of the region.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

There are a few enemies here, but that's about all there is to this place. The treasure will be in a hut that you need to climb up to.

Location: Lah Hideout

Location: In the northwest corner of the region.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

This place is a piece of cake. There are loads of oil jars here, and accompanying them are lots of grass patches. There are also two caged lions here as well, so you may as well fight them if you're looking for pelts.

Location: Liontari Debacle

Location: In the water directly north of the city of Herakleion.

Objectives: Loot Treasure (x2)

A simple underwater location.

Location: Meketre's Cache

Location: East of the city of Yw Huts, which is south of the northeastern viewpoint.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

Location: Mithidrates Roman Camp

Location: Northeast of the northeastern viewpoint.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

The treasure here is on the ship in the port. The captain, however, will most likely be surrounded by other enemies in the daytime. You might want to consider waiting until nighttime and trying your luck then.

Location: Neith Cradle Hideout

Location: Directly east of the city of Natho.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

The ruinous design of this hideout makes it very easy to sneak up on just about everyone. An underwater cave system holds the treasure and other lootable objects.

Location: Outskirts of Herakleion

Location: South of the city of Herakleion's viewpoint.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

The treasure here is by a scaffold, but there's a crocodile watching over it.

Location: Roman Camp of Jumbe

Location: In the northeast corner of the region.

Objectives: Kill Elephant

This elephant has a rider on it that won't really do anything until about halfway through the fight. Arrow bags will occasionally drop around the arena that you can use to restock, and about halfway through the fight the rider will toss smoke bombs to disorient you. I highly recommend using a light bow for this fight.

Location: Sap-Meh Anchorage

Location: In the water, northeast of the city of Herakleion.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

There should only be one enemy near the treasure here, which is at the back of the ship. Two lions and two soldiers should be at the front.

Location: Temple of Khonsou

Location: North of the city of Herakleion.

Objectives: Find the nearby hidden Papyrus

This scroll, titled Twin Despair, is on a table only a few feet into the temple.

Location: Thenessos Hideout

Location: Northwest of the northeastern viewpoint.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

If you're not at a comfortable level before taking this place on, consider knocking out the one man aboard the ship docked here and then using the crossbow to kill the captain and anyone else that sees you. That seems to be the best way to go about it if you're around Lv30 or so.

Location: Wdj-ur Wreck

Location: North of the northeastern viewpoint.

Objectives: Loot Treasure (x2)

Another easy underwater location. This wont take very long.

Location: Zoiontegoi Shipwreck

Location: Southwest of the city of Herakleion.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

There are a few wild animals running about here, and a soldier will cry for help, starting the Loose Cargo quest. The treasure is on the wrecked ship.
