43. Assassin's Creed Origins Sapi-Res Nome

Sapi-Res Nome is a small, skinny region wedged between Lake Mareotis and the beginning of the islands to the northeast. There's a fair amount to do here; there's a bit less to do than Sap-Meh Nome, but a bit more than Ka-Khem Nome.

Reward: 1500XP

A man near Sais needs his crop yield loaded onto his cart before the dastardly tax man comes along. After you load the cart up, things take a very high spike. Now you have to kill the tax collector. Fortunately, at least this was the case for me, the tax collector is just in Sais and it's very easy to drop down on him for a kill. The quest ends as soon as he's dead, but there'll be some other enemies nearby to contend with.

Quest: All Eyes on Us

Suggested: Lv16

Reward: 1250XP

For this quest you'll be tasked only with killing the six archers watching over Sais. You might've even already killed some before you get this quest. The quest will end once all six are dead.

Quest: Conflicts of Interest

Suggested: Lv15

Reward: 1250XP

The harbor master Zervos is missing. Talk to the merchants in the daytime about him to find out that Zervos has gone to Letopolis, then wait until nighttime and tail all three of them. They'll actually end up talking to Zervos, who's hiding out in a house nearby. Confront the four, and you'll learn why Zervos is in hiding; he's been hiding everyone's goods so The Scarab doesn't tax them to hell. Destroy or steal Zervos's ship containing all of his records and return to him to finish the quest.

Quest: Lost Happiness

Suggested: Lv16

Reward: 1250XP

One of the brewery's men never arrived to his destination. You can find him held prisoner in a nearby bandit camp. He'll explain that he was overwhelmed as he took a nap, and all the beer has already been consumed by the bandits. Luckily for you, that's not your problem, as the quest will end after you're done talking to him.

Quest: New Kid in Town

Suggested: Lv18

Reward: 1500XP

Talk to a man preaching about the city he's in, Letopolis, and you'll be directed towards a man named Nehi. His cart got stuck in a ditch, and he fled the scene leaving everything he owned behind when he heard some roaring in the distance. Locate the cart, and use Senu to find some bandits AND lions working together to ambush you. Try to kill some of them from afar before you approach the cart. When things have calmed down, take the cart back to Nehi.

After he gets his things back, he'll ask you to check out some strange writing he found on his wall; talk to the man that started this quest again, and he'll tell you three other people have found more writing on their walls. Locate these people with Senu, talk to them, and check out the writing in their houses. The four houses tell the approximate location of an ancient temple in the dunes to the west of Letopolis.

Despite your directions, travel southwest to find the temple, guarded by more bandits and lions. Investigate the temple through a small crack in the wall, then return to Letopolis to reveal your findings. If you try to talk to Nehi and it doesn't let you, you might want to try closing fully out of the game and then coming back in. By letting him know about the city, he'll thank you for telling him and try to leave with a woman that's taken a liking to him.

Quest: Smoke Over Water

Suggested: Lv15

Reward: 2000XP

A woman named Jeska was once smuggling people out of Sais before she was found out by The Scarab. Now that she's dead, talk to her friend Amosis by the docks to ask him if he'll take her place. Actually, she's not dead; she escaped her death sentence and took supplies along with her. Take a quick sailing trip to the island Jeska is stranded on and kill the hippos that are trying to attack her. She'll sail you to Mefkat, where it seems The Scarab's men has already visited here. Kill all of The Scarab's men and talk to Jeska, which is when you'll find a sole survivor. Take him to the farm nearby to ensure his safety and finish the quest.

Quest: The Old Library

Suggested: Lv18

Reward: 1500XP

During the quest Workers' Lament, you'll find a hidden library under the Temple of Horus. In here is a scroll detailing the location of a high quality sword, and Bayek will immediately be interested. Fast travel (if you can) to the only viewpoint in the region of Ka-Khem Nome, where the investigation for the sword takes place. On the ground is a very anxious man with a knife. After Bayek talks to him, he'll tell him that the bandits to the north have probably taken the sword by now.

Run on over to Dasos Hideout and locate the sword with Senu. If you want to avoid any human combat, you can get to the sword by dropping down a hole. There's a pack of hyenas down here, though, so be ready to fight them instead. The quest ends when you have the sword in your possession.

Quest: The Ostrich

Suggested: Lv17

Reward: 1500XP

A man hiding in a building is terrified of Sefetu's soldiers, but if he doesn't get to work, he'll be hit with Sefetu's tax collector. Instead of having the man go back to work like he's supposed to, the plan is to kill the tax collector instead. The tax collector should be at Camp Shemu, which is at the southwest corner of the region at the coast of Lake Mareotis. When you kill him, the quest should end right there.

Quest: The Tax Master

Suggested: Lv17

Reward: 1250XP

After progressing through other quests, return to Sais to learn that Harkuf has been taken prisoner. He's being held captive in Fort Nikiou and will be killed if he isn't rescued. Get to the fort and talk to Harkuf, who will tell you that you'll need the key Sefutu has on his person. Kill him and take it to free Harkuf, then escort him out of the fort. He'll go on his way back to Sais once you're done talking with him.

Quest: Workers' Lament

Suggested: Lv18

Reward: 1500XP

A pregnant woman named Nito is overworking herself, so Bayek will step in to help her out. Talk to her workers, or at least the one out in the open, and you'll find out that the other two workers have been trapped in a collapsed tunnel. Bust the first door in the tunnel open and carry the man here out to his brother, then break another door open and reach the last worker. Watch out for snakes, though. Return to Nito to finish the quest.

Location: Camp Achlys

Location: South of the middle viewpoint of the region.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

The typical camp. It should be easier to sneak up on just about everyone at nighttime. The treasure is in a tent.

Location: Camp Pyrrhos

Location: North of the western viewpoint.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

There's a lot of grass here for you to use, but there are also a lot of oil jars you can light on fire. There's not much else to say about this place.

Location: Camp Shemu

Location: Down to the south, on the southern coast of Lake Mareotis.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

Despite being right on the coast of Lake Mareotis, the map displays this location as being here in Sapi-Res Nome. There might even be a few lower-leveled enemies walking around here.

Location: Hippopotamus Lair

Location: On the west coast of the region.

Objectives: Kill Animal

This lair is surprisingly barren. There might only be two hippos here, one being the alpha of course.

Location: Mefkat

Location: To the southwest, in the sand.

Objectives: Loot Treasure (x2)

This place is burnt out and swarming with enemy soldiers, and there's a Ptolemy statue sitting around here for more experience too. One of the treasures is uniquely placed up in a tree, so you'll have to climb it to get to it.

Location: Nikiou Fort

Location: Between the left and middle viewpoints; a large fort that you should easily be able to see on the map.

Objectives: Loot Treasure (x4), Kill Captain (x2), Kill Commander

This fort is massive. You'll very likely have to get into a fight at some point, so the best thing to do is disable braziers and sneak up on as many enemies as possible. One of the tougher enemies is a massive pain to deal with, even when you're ten levels ahead of him. It'd be a good idea to take care of nearly everyone else before dealing with him.

Location: Nikiou Outpost

Location: West of the middle viewpoint.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

There's a lot of grass at this outpost, so you should be able to whistle everyone over to you for a takedown, including the captain. The treasure is in a tent.

Location: Psenemphaia Hideout

Location: West of the western viewpoint.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

Just like the location above, there are lots of oil pots and grass patches for you to use. It'll be easy to clear this place out.

Location: Sapi-Res Ruins

Location: North of the middle viewpoint.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

Run into the middle of the ruins, and you should find a large hole in the water that you can dive into. The treasure is down there with a few smaller objects you can loot.

Location: Sap-Meh Warehouse

Location: On the coast, west of Sais.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

There's not much to say about this location other than that the treasure is inside a building at ground level. This place's layout doesn't help with sneaking up on enemies, so you'll probably have to get in a scuffle to grab the treasure.

Location: Temple of Horus

Location: East of Letopolis.

Objectives: Find the nearby hidden Papyrus

As with all papyrus scroll locations, this place is an easy completion. You can find the scroll by some offerings near a statue. The puzzle is called Sea of Sand.
