45. Assassin's Creed Origins Siwa

You'll be able to start working on Siwa's quests and locations as soon as you finish the first story quest. There's one Ptolemy statue in the middle of the city, and there are three viewpoints to synchronize with.

Quest: Bayek's Promise

Suggested: Lv05

Hide ads

Reward: 3000XP

This quest starts when you first approach the Amun Stone Circle for the first time. To finish the quest, you need to locate all 12 Stone Circle locations. Each time you get to a Stone Circle, you'll see a flashback of Bayek and his son, providing more backstory on his family life. The Stone Circles are given more detail on every page they're located on, and you'll have to find them all anyway for two related achievements, so you don't need to worry about finding them as fast as possible or anything.

After finding all the stone circles, take the twelve pieces Bayek picked up at each one back to the circle in Siwa. Now that this quest is complete, you'll finally be able to properly find the place underneath the Great Sphinx in Giza.

Quest: Family Reunion

Suggested: Lv02

Reward: 600XP

This quest is started from Hepzefa's informant table, which will be right in front of you after the first story quest. You can also find it on your map if you forgot where it is. Some farmers and a man named Teremun have been taken prisoner here for protesting, and as the medjay of Siwa, it's your job to look after your citizens and take them back.

Upon finding the farmers, you'll find Teremun dead in the cell. His family will want to give him a proper burial, so take him back to his family's farm. To make matters worse, Teremun's family has been killed by soldiers in retaliation to his rebellious actions. Lay him down next to his family to finish the quest.

Quest: Gear Up

Suggested: Lv02

Reward: 500XP

You'll start out with Gear Up after finishing the first story mission. For this simple quest, you need to craft your first breastplate, which you can do by collecting five pieces of soft leather. Call upon Senu and she'll be able to more easily locate this resource nearby. Tag it and run over there, then collect it by whichever means you'd like. The quest ends when you've made the breastplate in your Gear menu.

Quest: The Healer

Suggested: Lv03

Reward: 600XP, Legendary Trinket

Rabiah needs your help by the lakeside. It seems she was the one to found the House of Life to the west, and she's been trying to perform medicinal services on the injured villagers, but soldiers have been constantly preventing her from getting her the medicine she needs. A shipment of the stuff has been sunken, and now lies at the bottom of the lake. Use Senu to locate these three medicines near the base of a pillar in the water, then collect them and bring them back to Rabiah at the House of Life.

The problem doesn't end there, though; it seems the soldiers have had the audacity to throw the sick out of the temple and take the stuff inside for themselves. Take care of all of them and let Rabiah know the temple is safe once again to finish the quest.

Quest: Hideaway

Suggested: Lv03

Reward: 500XP

Fenuku, one of Khemu's old friends, will be calling for his older brother Chenzira outside of a new hyena's den. It'll be up to you to find him inside. Look for a room with two pushable statues and break the pots blocking the area in which they can be pushed. Then just push these things out of the way to get to Chenzira. When you find him, there will be an ancient tablet in the room he's in that will grant you a skill point upon interacting with it. This will also finish the location, so don't forget to read it.

Outside of the cave, you'll find those hyenas that Fenuku was talking about earlier. Kill them so Chenzira can get home safely.

Quest: Prisoners in the Temple

Suggested: Lv04

Reward: 500XP

There are five imprisoned priests dotted around the Temple of Amun. Rescue them all and save them from the clutches of The Heron's men to finish the quest. To start the quest, talk with one of the five men, who will be screaming for help. Since these guys are all over the place, you'll have to take out most of the enemies here in order to get to everyone. The quest will end after all of the priests have been freed.

Quest: Striking the Anvil

Suggested: Lv03

Reward: 500XP

Benipe the blacksmith has had some trouble with the guards around Siwa. After simply seeing him make a sword, they've confiscated his tools and taken them to Camp Shetjeh. Find them and take them back to him, and he'll offer you one of four items. Check them out and pick whichever one suits your fancy.

Quest: Water Rats

Suggested: Lv03

Reward: 600XP

This quest is started from Hepzefa's informant table, which will be right in front of you after the first story quest. You can also find it on your map if you forgot where it is. Some bandits have taken over a very important water resources for farmers, and to bring the water back to the people, you need to kill the bandits. There are a lot of tough enemies in this cave, so be as prepared as possible before taking them on. The quest will end as soon as you defeat the last of the enemies.

Location: Amanai Cave

Location: Directly west of the uppermost viewpoint.

Objectives: Loot Treasure (x3)

This location is tied to the quest Water Rats, so you should try to complete it as you fulfill the quest. You can drop in from above if you're not able to find a normal entrance. It's best to use Senu to locate the treasures before entering the cave so you know where to go.

Location: Amun Stone Circle

Location: Southwest of the city of Siwa, near the border of Siwa and the Great Sand Sea.

Objectives: Align the Stars

This will most likely be the first Stone Circle you interact with. The stars made of the stones in the ground align with a constellation just to the left when you're looking up at the stars.

Location: Camp Shetjeh

Location: Directly west of Siwa's fast travel location, and right next to another viewpoint.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

Since you'll probably be attempting to complete this location at a very early level, it's a good idea to synch the viewpoint here undetected, and then use Senu to locate the camp's captain, whose level will be outlined in gold. It's also smart to tag as many enemies as you can, so as to prevent yourself from being detected by an enemy you didn't know was around you. The treasure in this camp is inside what can only be assumed to be the captain's tent; look for a very large red tent with banners out front, and you'll know that you've found the right place. As for actually fighting the captain, you might want to try simply sneaking up on him for a takedown, since that should knock him out immediately and satisfy the objective.

Location: Coral Escarpment Camp

Location: Directly north of the city of Siwa.

Objectives: Kill Captain, Loot Treasure

This camp is made of a lot more buildings than Camp Shetjeh, which gives you a few more opportunities to sneak around. The captain here will occasionally stop and sit at his desk, and that's your best opportunity to sneak up on him. The treasure is on the top of a building, next to the warning beacon that the soldiers may use if they want to sound an alarm.

Location: Halma Point

Location: At the northern end of the large lake in the middle of the region.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

There are some ridiculously overpowered enemies here in the early game, and are in fact so overpowered that you don't even get to see what level they're at. If you want to go for the treasure here as soon as you can, it's imperative that you do so very sneakily, or even at night, when the enemies here are asleep.

Location: Home

Location: Northwest of the city of Siwa and north of Camp Shetjeh.

Objectives: Loot Treasure

Bayek's house. You'll have to punch or strike the thin doors open to get inside and reach the treasure.

Location: House of Life

Location: A bit southeast of the city of Siwa.

Objectives: Find the nearby hidden Papyrus

There isn't much of interest here save for a few bundles of arrows and the Papyrus scroll you're after. It'll be on a table in a reddish tent.

Location: Hyena Lair

Location: On the northeast end of the large lake in the middle of the region.

Objectives: Kill Animal

Once a soldier's fort, this area is now infested with hyenas. The alpha hyena here should be around Lv03, and taking it down should be a bit easier if you manage to shoot an arrow or two in it before it comes after you.

Location: Ibex Lair

Location: A bit high up on the map, north of the lake and the hyena lair, and east of the higher of the three viewpoints.

Objectives: Kill Animal

The ibex lair is a large pond, populated with many birds, but more importantly, the alpha ibex. Unlike most other animals with lairs, the ibex are not normally hostile to you, so it's best to shoot an arrow into the alpha's head from afar.

Location: Lysandros' Oracle Offerings

Location: At the southern edge of the large lake in the middle of the region.

Objectives: Loot Treasure (x3)

The three treasures here are all stored in a cave of sorts, made with submerged ruins. They're all fairly close to each other, so use your Animus Pulse to find them more easily.

Location: Mountain of the Dead Tomb

Location: Northwest of the city of Siwa, east of the smaller of two lakes of the region.

Objectives: Find the Ancient Tablet

This location is related to the Hideaway quest, so you'll likely finish this location as you complete said quest. The tablet in here will give you a skill point upon reading it.

Location: Temple of Amun

Location: Northeast of the city of Siwa.

Objectives: Loot Treasure (x3)

The temple is related to the Family Reunion quest, so you should go about finding the treasures after you've started the quest. As usual, Send is really useful at finding these treasures, so make sure to use her before heading inside. The Heron is inside temple too, so if you're around Lv05, you should be able to take him on, but if not, you should come back here when you are.

Location: Vulture Lair

Location: South of the lake in the middle of the region, on the road from where you first started the game.

Objectives: Kill Animal

This place is infested with vultures, but there's one in particular that you need to kill. You can always try using an arrow from a distance to make it an easy victory, but you have not truly lived until you've decked a vulture straight in the beak with your bare hands.
