  When you first go to Battery Park and meet with Agent Navarre, you'll be tasked with storming Castle Clinton and handling a hostage situation in the subway. You must ignore both of these objectives, and sneak onto the train without bringing the hostages with you (or getting them killed). When you get to the next level, Paul will freak out, and you'll get the achievement.

  Luckily, you CAN take down all of the terrorists in the subway-proper area (I ignored the entrance), then run straight for the train. This can easily be accomplished by judicious use of the vents and tranquilizer darts. Popped for me as soon as I talked to Paul in Hell's Kitchen.
