To beat (the) Gnorp Apologue, you must reach the 10th level of compression. (You can check your compression level by hovering over your compression meter under the pile.) Once you reach Level 10, The bar and shards will turn rainbow and you will unlock "The Railgun" Building. You will need to purchase this along with its upgrade "The Finale". You do not need to have a full compression meter in order to build "The Finale" but once the rainbow compression bar is full, another upgrade "Initiate the Finale" will unlock. Once you purchase this upgrade, a giant drill will fire into the air in a cut scene and crash into the rock causing it to endlessly erupt with shards. These will not be collected as your runners will be celebrating your victory and you will unlock this achievement.
The recommended strategy for this is to maximise the number of status conditions you inflict on the rock and build "XY-1-AB" Building as quickly as possible as rockets will by far be your most damaging tool.
