2016 was a good year for me, Steam-wise at least! Lots of great games were released, I played a lot of great games, and I got a new laptop so I can play games (great and otherwise) on the couch!

I joined TSA early this year and it has helped me get into games in a way I haven't been for a long time. I've been completing games, which I've never really done, and I am slowly getting my moneys worth out of my giant library

Things I've done in 2016:
* Completed a whopping 83 games
* More than doubled my TSA score
* Bought a zillion games

Goals for 2017:
* Reach 25% AGC, finally!
* Work towards having played 717 games
* Beat oldschooler85
* Play each new game I purchase at least once
* Work through the games I purchased in 2016!

I'm not sure if I am going to continue the stat blog posts. There was a recent update to the scanning algorithm and now my TSA library is a bit of a mess! I'm not sure I like that all of my games without achievements have been added, and I definitely don't like how some have been added to games while others have been added to apps. At the very least I'm going to have to retire my unplayed games figure!

Summary

It is only at this point I noticed that I put November on my last blog post by accident! Oh well

I have spent most of my gaming time this week on trying to complete Faerie Solitaire, as it's relatively low investment and the run-up to Christmas is always busy! I have 5 achievements left in it, all quite grindy, so whether I actually finish it is another matter!

One thing I don't understand: why, even though my average completion is going up, my ratio continues to go down! Maybe I should play some harder games

Hello all, hope you're well!

A small amount of progress this week. I've started a few new games, as well as maintaining (and slightly improving my completion percentage. Last Days of Spring, Doodle God 8 bit and Greyfox RPG were all really easy completions, so if you want some of those, go for it!

Also, I want to warn you away from a game, today. I started Bonsai, a game about growing some bonsai trees. Lovely, except for the fact that it crashes EVERY TIME I try to prune my tree. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Decided to take a new tack with my blog post this week. The 'Games To Be Played More' section was taking a lot of time to update, so I've scrapped it for now! I can always change it back if I change my mind

Quiet week this week, but I did play the wonderful Razortron 2000, an 80s-inspired Spy Hunter-esque endless runner. It's lovely, and it's less than £1/$1 so get it get it get it!
