Got this on my third try due to RNG. When playing as the Jester you can try to Confuse enemies you're in combat with - you get an option under the attack roll button.
Confusing an enemy works by you rolling a die and adding your Fate to it. If the total is equal to or above the enemies Craft or Strength score you're able to Evade. (If you have Fate points equal to their Craft or Strength score you don't have to roll, and immediately get the option to Evade.)
You must find an enemy with a Craft or Strength score of 7 or higher and successfully Confuse them for this achievement to unlock. Example enemies include Dragon and Demon.
You don't need to increase your own Strength or Craft scores for this, just run around until you meet a powerful enough enemy and then try to Confuse it in battle. And don't ever use your Fate on anything as it will lessen your chances of successfully Confusing the enemies.
