This achievement May appear to be broken to anyone that has played the game for two hours in one sitting. However, it is not broken, I assure you.
The game seems to suffer from copius amounts of frame drops late in the game as the levels become absolutely huge. That said, the IN GAME clock must elapse 2 hours in game for the achievement to trigger.
To keep track easily, enable the timer in the GUI options of the game settings.
