4. Final Fantasy IX Excalibur II Playthrough

This is probably one of the single most hardest challenges in a Final Fantasy game to date. In order to get the Excalibur II, you have to reach the final area in Memoria (the room you fight Lich in) in 12 hours or less. Once you have defeated Lich, inspect the pillar on the right to find the sword. This was insanely difficult on the PS1 version, particularly on the PAL version. However, the Steam version has rendered this far easier to obtain.

For starters, in the Steam version, you can skip cutscenes. You can also enable in-game boosters that make things a lot easier. One of these is the one that speeds up gameplay. The beauty of that one is that it does not speed up the in-game clock whilst doing so. But, essentially, for this one, you will want to skip everything that is optional and just book it to Memoria as fast as humanly possible. Only then can you get Excalibur II and the likely last remaining achievement in the game.
