Atari Shows Tempest 4000 at E3 2018

By Rebecca Smith,
During E3, there was a deluge of trailers, screenshots, live streams and lots of information from more games than you can shake a stick at. None of those were from publisher Atari, and unless you were actually at the show, you wouldn't have realised they were there. To remedy this, the publisher has released a number of screenshots for every one of the games they had there, one of which is coming to Steam.

Llamasoft's Tempest 4000 aims to remain faithful to the original title released 37 years ago, even though the latest reboot will bring the franchise into the modern world with new features and 4K graphics. You can take a look at those graphics below.

Tempest 4000 doesn't have a release window right now.

When not writing news, she can usually be found sharpening her very, VERY, pointy grammar stick in anticipation of its imminent use. Outside of TSA, TA and TT, she works in an independent game shop so that she can spend all day talking about games too. At home, with a variety of PCs and consoles on hand from which to choose, starting with a ZX Spectrum, games are never far away there either. However, as you're not supposed to have an unhealthy obsession with just a single subject, she also likes to read and dream about owning her own tribe of minions. She'll occasionally go outside.
