"One More Run"
That's the desired goal of many games but only a handful every year manage to pull it off. At this point, it is safe to add Slay the Spire to that illustrious group. I've played this off and on for a year now and while I'm personally horrible at it- I always think to myself the next run is where I'll finally put it all together. Occasionally, I stumble into a solid combo of cards and the run purrrrrs along. More often than not it just ends in failure usually somewhere in Stage 2. But for me that failure is never disheartening. I will keep this game installed for the foreseeable future as I pursue that "perfect run".
