The first achievement of Silver Creek Falls Chapter One is unmissable due to needing to collect all of the samples to progress through the game, but here’s how many you should be collecting in each room/crime scene in order to speed up the process for those who just want to burn through the achievement collection:
Note: some of the blood on the floor takes up two spaces, make sure to check that the second square of one blood puddle does not class as a second sample.
Crime Scene One
The kitchen is the first room to the right. There are 3 blood samples in this room.
The living room is the first room to the left. There are 4 samples in here – the top right corner on the wall when you first walk in, there are two couches both with blood splatter, one has one sample and one has two samples.
You should now have 7 blood samples.
In the hallway, there are 9 samples – 16 samples altogether.
In the far-left bedroom, there are 2 samples – 18 samples altogether.
In the room right of the bedroom, there are 5 samples – 23 samples altogether.
In the room right of this room, there are 5 samples – 28 samples altogether.
In the final room on the far right, there are 3 samples.
Upon finishing the first crime scene, you should have 31 blood samples.
Crime Scene Two
There are only 4 blood samples at this location, gathered together to the left between the two larger green trees. Collect these four and you should now have 35 blood samples and be ready to go to the third crime scene.
Crime Scene Three
This is the last crime scene to collect samples and where your achievement should click. There are 8 blood samples here – the car does not contain a sample. The long streak of blood on the road counts for 3 samples.
Once you’ve collected these 8, you should have a total of 43 samples and the achievement, Are You Dracula? will automatically pop.
For the second achievement, you need to drink one of the blood samples – do this after completing Are You Dracula – some users have reported not being able to progress when missing a blood sample – a patch seems to have fixed this, but better safe than sorry!
To do this, hit [esc] to open your menu, your action key [spacebar] or [enter] to open the items menu and hit your action key once more to open your Items/Evidence.
Scroll with your arrow keys to your blood samples and hit your action key. The character menu will open asking you who will drink it – your choice does not matter, I chose Philip but you can use Sara or Deputy Hill Deputy and the achievement will pop either way.
Use the arrow keys to select which character will drink it, hit your action key, the character will drink the blood sample, and your second achievement will pop.
