Realm Grinder is a clicker game from Divine Games, published by Kongregate, released earlier in 2017. I saw this for free on the Steam store and decided to give it a go; it reminded me of games like Guild Quest, a game I have enjoyed quite a bit before. I was quite surprised at how much I actually enjoyed this.
Realm Grinder does a very good job of bringing strategy into clicker games, where as many clicker games are very much a bit of a struggle to know what to upgrade, what to buy, what skills to unlock, etc. The achievements themselves are also very good to aim for in order to give yourself a strategy for the game you’re playing at the moment, and it all links together really well.
This is actually a really fun game if you enjoy strategy, progress, and challenging yourself to do the best you can with different routes. That’s another fun thing about it – there’s two routes you can take – you can be a good King or an evil King, and which route you take changes what you can unlock and what you can buy for your kingdom. It’s a lot of fun with a lot to discover throughout the game, and if you like strategy, I would definitely recommend this one. This might be a game I actually keep after completing it.
Definitely give this one a try.
